Bremen_PoliceOn Friday Bremen Police Chief Matt Hassel released his departmental activity report for November 14th through the 21st.

Officers wrote five traffic citations, six traffic warnings and five ordinance violations between the 14th and 21st.

Bremen officers investigated three crashes, a property damage accident on November 14th at Plymouth Street and Bowen Avenue, again on the 17th at Plymouth Street and Bowen Avenue and on the 19th in the parking lot of First Source Bank at 1409 West Plymouth Street.

Bremen officers arrested four individuals between the 14th and the 21st. On November 18th officers arrested Joseph Shepherd of Etna Green was arrested on an Elkhart warrant for failure to appear and Anthony Howell from Fort Wayne for driving while suspended with a prior charge. On the 19th Victor Mills of Bremen was arrested for life time habitual traffic violator, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating while intoxicated endangering a person and then on the 20th Alberto Pinzon-Beade of South Bend was arrested for operator never licensed.

Bremen officers also responded to fire calls on the 14th at 2162 US 6 for a personal injury crash, on the 17th at 431 Plymouth-Goshen Trail for a personal injury crash, on the 19th at 4133 East County Line Road for a carbon monoxide detector, at Betterway Products at 3659 Destiny Drive for a fire alarm and at 4th Road and East Shore Drive to assist EMS for a male subject located in a field.
