Bremen Police Chief Matt Hassel released the activity report for August 15th through the 21st. Bremen Officers issues 17 traffic citations and 13 traffic warnings.
Last week Bremen Police arrested Amanda Nusbaum on the 15th for operating while intoxicated on a controlled substance, operating while intoxicated and possession of marijuana. Over the weekend Nickolaus Young of Plymouth was arrested for operating while intoxicated endangering a person, operating while intoxicated with a BAC of .15% or more and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and Jose Valencia of Logansport was arrested for operator never licensed. On Monday, August 18th Joshuah Cherrone of Bremen was arrested for domestic battery, intimidation, criminal mischief, interference with reporting a crime, possession of meth, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana.
Bremen officers were dispatched to Plymouth Goshen Trail and Miami Road for a hit and skip accident on August 15th and on the 17th to a gas leak at 4428 West Shore Drive. There was also a unknown accident with injuries at Liberty and Plymouth Street. On Sunday, August 17th Bremen police responded to the BP Gas Station for a personal injury accident and a property damage accident. Wednesday, August 20th officers investigated a property damage accident at Hope and Faith Streets and on the 21st to the report of smoke on the second floor of a house at Dewey and Montgomery Streets and to a fire alarm at 512 West Grant Street.
