The Ancilla volleyball team will once again take to the floor to battle breast cancer this Thursday night at 6:30PM at the LifePlex in Plymouth. The Chargers for Change effort is set to benefit Plymouth Ounce of Prevention, with a $5 donation being accepted at the door.
Beyond the competition on floor against Lansing Community College, the evening’s activities include a serving game between sets two and three, as well as raffles for various gift baskets donated by area merchants and businesses.
This is the second year the Chargers have supported the Ounce of Prevention organization, which was established in 2003 to raise awareness of and provide support for those whose lives are affected by breast cancer.
