PLYMOUTH, IN – The Ancilla men’s basketball team won their fourth straight game with a 96-72 victory over visiting Edison Community College.
Ancilla is now 6-2 overall and 5-0 at home.
“The guys gave a very focused effort today,” began Ancilla coach Aaron Butcher. It was a solid win over a quality opponent. We have a big week coming up as we travel to take on a very good Don Bosco Prep team Wednesday and host #4 Cincinnati State on Saturday.”
Ancilla was led by Juwan Johnson’s 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists, as well as Tque Smith’s 22 points and 10 rebounds. Mike Wickliff added 14 points, while Travon Brackett and Eric Waddell added eight and seven points respectively. Both Brackett and Waddell pulled down six rebounds also.
Ancilla will hit the road on December 3 for a 7:00 p.m. tipoff against Don Bosco Prep in Merrillville.
