City NEwsThe Plymouth Common Council unanimously approved the first amendment to the Integrated Municipal Solid Waste Contract.
The amendment was an extension to the Allied/Republic Service trash and recycling contract for five years.
City Attorney Sean Surrisi said the original agreement was signed on August 1st 2009. The extension keeps residential monthly billing at the original price of $15.08.
The City Council also approved a resolution granting George Schricker a Commercial Revitalization Rebate Grant. Schricker will be making improvements to his property at 113 North Michigan Street. He will be putting a new roof on the property, replacing a couple of window panels and scrapping, priming, caulking and painting the trim on the building.
The low quote for the work is $42,415 and the Common Council approved a 20% grant rebate which should amount to $8,483.
