City Hall07/14/14 The City of Plymouth will hold their regular meetings Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
The first time of business will be opening bids for the Beerenbrook and West Jefferson Streets storm sewer project. The board will also award the bid for the second phase of the 2014 Street and Sidewalk projects.
City department heads will give their reports and the mayor and board member will also have the ability to address thoughts, issues and concerns.
City Attorney Sean Surrisi will present a resolution to write off delinquent and uncollectable water, wastewater, garbage and stormwater bill. He will also present an interlocal agreement for professional engineering services.
Clerk Treasuere Toni Hutching will present several requests including Eric Carlson who is seeking No Parking signs on Pennsylvania Avenue, B.J. Rockaway who would like to block parking spaces at St. Thomas Episcopal Church and Norm Long who is heading up this year’s Crop Walk.
The City Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30. The first item is a public hearing for additional appropriations. Under news business the Planning Consultant will present an amendment to the Subdivision Control Ordinance while the City Attorney will present an ordinance fixing the salaries for 2015 for elected officials, appointed officers, employees, fire and police personnel on first reading.
In other business several resolutions will be considered include one to create a fund for the Old Firehouse HPF Grant and one for the Safe Routes to School Project Fund. They will also consider the resolution for the additional appropriations considered during the public hearing.
Both meetings are held in the Council Chambers of City Hall and the public is welcome to attend. Comments and questions are limited to agenda items
