03/10/14 The Plymouth City Council will meet tonight beginning at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety.  Agenda for the meeting includes a hearing for an Affirmation of Order to Take Action regarding an Unsafe Building at 400 East Jefferson, the former Clark Station which is owned by someone out of state.   The Board of Works is also expected to award bids for a Wastewater department truck and a truck for the Water Department. 

The various city department heads will present their reports.  During this time Building Commissioner Keith Hammonds will report on 712 North Fourth Street and Police Chief Dave Bacon will seek approval of the Indiana Revenue Sharing agreement for online vehicular collision reporting.  The City Engineer, Rick Gaul will report on the Metronet conduit installation in the right-of-way and City Attorney Sean Surrisi will present a cleaning contract for the cemetery. 

The Common Council meeting begins at 6:30 and will conduct a public hearing on the tax abatement request for American Containers.  They will then consider a resolution confirming the adoption of a declaratory designation of American Containers real estate for the tax abatement.   Also on the agenda is consideration of an ordinance to amend the fee schedule for the park department to add a rental fee for Nixon Field and the exemption request of the Knights of Columbus to fundraise in the city.
