02/17/14 Senator Dan Coats (R-Ind.) Friday announced an upcoming “Academy Day” session in central Indiana to provide interested students with the opportunity to learn more about applying to one of the U.S. Service Academies. The informational session, jointly hosted by Coats and United States Air Force Academy Admissions, will take place on Saturday, March 15 at 9 a.m. at the Indiana War Memorial in Indianapolis.
Representatives from Coats’ office and the service academies will be available to speak with individuals about life at a U.S. Service Academy and offer advice on the application process. The academies include the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at King’s Point, U.S. Military Academy at West Point and U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis.
