Julie Fox the Marshall County Clerk presented the County Commissioners with a finalized list of polling sites that will be used in future elections.
Fox said there have been slight modifications but the proposed listing has been approved by the Marshall County Election Board and the Indiana Election Division. The Marshall County Commissioners also approved the new list.
The 30 precincts have been combined into a total of 15 polling sites and include: Bourbon Township Precincts 1 & 2 at the Triton High School.
Center Township now has 8 precincts. Center 1 & 2 will vote at the National Guard Armory, Center 3 & 4 at the Knights of Columbus, Center 5 & 6 at the Plymouth Baptist Church and Center 7 & 8 at the REMC Auditorium.
German Township has 5 precincts with German 1 voting at the Lake of the Woods Community Building, German 2 at the Bremen Missionary Church and German 3, 4 & 5 at the Bremen High School.
Green Townships only precinct will vote at the United Methodist Church in Argos while all three precincts in North Township will vote at the LaPaz Community Building.
The two Polk Townships will vote at the Tyner Fire Department and the sole precinct in Tippecanoe Township will be at the Tippecanoe Community Center.
Union Township has precincts 1 & 2 and they will both vote at the Culver Depot and both Walnut Townships will be at the United Methodist Church in Argos.
West Township precincts 1, 2 and 3 and West/City of Plymouth will all vote at the Pretty Lake Trinity Church Fellowship Hall.
