01/09/14 Due to the recent snowstorm, the Marshall County Commissioners postponed their first meeting of the new year from Monday this week until Friday, January 10th at 1 p.m. in their meeting room on the second floor of the County Building.

Agenda for the meeting includes the reorganization with the election of officers and appointment of representative to the MACOG board. 

Clyde Avery, County Emergency Management Director will discuss the 2013 sub-grant agreement and local attorney Jim Easterday will again discuss the New Wine Church property issue. 

Commissioners will hear reports from the County Attorney, Highway Superintendent and County Auditor.

Other agenda items include the appointment of members to the Alcohol Beverage Commission, County Plan Commission and the county’s Sick Bank committee.
