07/21/14 The Marshall County Commissioners will meet Monday morning beginning at 9:30 in their second floor meeting room of the County Building. They have a lengthy agenda for the day.
At 9:30 Haley Kittrell, CASA Director will present her annual report and Head Probation Officer, Mary Jane Walsworth will discuss a claim issue. County Planning Director Ralph Booker will present his activity report as the Plymouth Plan consultant while Wes Burden from the Health Department will present grant agreements.
At 10 o’clock Monday a public hearing will be held concerning an amendment to the County Zoning Ordinance as it relates to the sign standards. Following the public hearing EMA Director, Clyde Avery will present an update to the Emergency Plan.
Other agenda items include the monthly report from Chuck DeWitt for the building department while Ward Byers, Court Services Director will present an addendum to the 3M contract. The commissioners will also hear the County Attorney’s report, Highway report, and an update on the county’s Worker’s Comp Insurance from Mike Miley of Gibson Insurance.
The Commissioner’s meeting is open to the public and comments and questions are welcome.
