Fulton County-Indiana Conservation Officers responded to the Tippecanoe River in Fulton County Wednesday evening for the initial report of a one person on top of a vehicle in the water.

Officers located the vehicle near the Menominee Public Access Site on the Tippecanoe River and rescued one individual from the water.

Joshua Sexton from Rochester, was rescued uninjured.

  The Fulton County Sheriff’s Department is investigating why Sexton’s vehicle left County Road 350 North and plunge into the icy water. Alcohol may be a contributing factor. Conservation Officers handled the removal of the vehicle from the water.

 

Indiana Conservation Officers were assisted by Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, Rochester Fire, and Indiana State Police.
