The Marshall County Board of Finance met Monday morning to accept requests for proposals from banking institution within Marshall County that are interested in handling the County’s cash management accounts.
Proposals were accepted from Lake City Bank, 1St Source Bank, Key Bank, Centier Bank and Teachers Credit Union.
The proposals were opened and taken under advisement for review by County Treasurer Deb VanDeMark. The treasure will create a spread sheet for comparison looking at safety, liquidity and yield as well as rates of return and service charges and report back to the rest of the board in two weeks.
Currently the county is using Lake City Bank for their cash management accounts.
