County Building_2Members of the Marshall County Council will conduct their regular meeting Monday morning beginning at 9 a.m.
On the agenda is a request of Judge Dean Colvin to waive the probationary period for a new employee in this office. Sheriff Tom Chamberlin and Chief Probation officer Mary Jane Walsworth will be seeking employee replacement requests and Laura Mann, board member from the Heminger House will seek county support for the Woman’s and Children’s County Shelter.
Council members will consider additional appropriations. The Cum Bridge fund needs $252,000 for the 7th Road Project and WIC needs $2,015 for office supplies and $50 for phone. They may also have transfers to consider.
The Council will also conduct a budget work session.
The County meeting is open to the public in the second floor meeting room of the County Building. Comments and questions are limited to the first order of business.
