Sheriff's Star BadgeMarshall County Sheriff Tom Chamberlin recently released the November 2014 activity report.

The Top Ten offense for being booked into the jail included: number 10 possession of a controlled substance, number 9 court ordered hearings, number 8 marijuana, number 7 probation violations and number 6 driving while suspended. The top five bookings for November were number 5 theft, number 4 dealing cocaine or meth, number 3 operator never licensed, number 2 failure to appear and the number one reason operating while intoxicated.

There were a total of 122 bookings into the Marshall County Jail last month. Argos officers arrested 4, Bourbon police 1, Bremen police 8, Indiana State Troopers 16, Plymouth Police 37 and County Officers 51.

County Police investigated 86 accidents in November, 76 were property damage and 10 involved personal injuries.

There were 79 case reports taken and 154 citations issued last month by Marshall County Police Officers.
