MugSHot_Audie Bolinger (2)On Sunday, October 26th at 4:30 PM, officers with the Marshall County Police Department were dispatched to the 7,000 Block of 11A Road in reference to a stabbing.

Officers arrived and were advised no one was stabbed, but an altercation between Audie and Britain Bolinger had taken place. A knife was used in an attempt to cause harm to the victim, but no injuries were present.

Police ordered Bolinger out of the house but he refused to exit the doorway of his residence and had to be assisted off the front porch of the property by officers. There was a short scuffle between officers and moments later Bolinger was placed in handcuffs. While attempting to control and detain the suspect, County Officer Andrew Wozniak sustained a small gash on the right hand causing bleeding.

57 year old Audie Bolinger of 7400 11A Road was transported to the Marshall County Jail and lodged for Battery by Means of a Deadly Weapon, Resisting Law Enforcement and Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury-Law Enforcement. He was held with no bond.
