Between May 9th and June 1st of this year, patrolmen with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department participated in Operation Pull Over Blitz number 79, “Click It or Ticket.”
The Operation Pull Over hours worked by county officers are additional hours above and beyond their regular duty hours.
Blitz #79 had patrolmen concentrating on seatbelt violations and child restraint violations. During this enforcement period county officers issued a total of 70 citations. 37 of the 70 citations were issued for seatbelt violations. There were also 13 citations for speed, 3 criminal misdemeanor arrests and 1 criminal felony arrest.
