03/11/14  On Monday, March 3rd at 4:14 P.M. Marshall County Police Officer Matt Brown took a report from resident in the 11,000 block of 12th Road.  It was stated by the resident that at approximately 2:45 P.M. an unmarked, white colored, box truck stopped at the residence with a four white males that exited the vehicle.  One of the males was older and the other three appeared to be in their mid 20’s.  They asked the victim if he would like his driveway shoveled.  The victim agreed to have the remainder of his driveway shoveled and he returned back inside the residence.  An hour later the resident asked the gentleman to leave.  The he older male requested $300 for the work that they had preformed.  The victim told the Officer Brown that due to his age and there being four of them he paid the money and the subjects left.

The local resident told the officer that the older subject claimed to be from Peru, Indiana but was unable to obtain any more information on the vehicle or the male subjects.
