The Marshall County Commissioners are offering FREE dirt again. Last month County Highway Foreman Jason Peters asked about the possibility of doing another giveaway of dirt left over from the Pioneer Drive project.
Last year the offer of free dirt was made to area residents, businesses and governmental agencies. Peters said it was successful but there is a still a lot of dirt left in front of the jail facility at the intersection of Pioneer Drive and Jim Neu.
The Marshall County Commissioners with the help of the County Highway Department will offer free dirt the next three Saturdays, July 12th, 19th, and 28th from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Highway employees will run a loader and you only need to provide your own method of transportation….a pick-up truck, dump truck or just buckets or containers in your trunk.
