03/24/14 Plymouth Police Officer John Weir investigated a two vehicle crash Friday morning at 7:50 on Overmyer Drive west of Nutmeg Road. The crash sent one person to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth.
40 year old Jessica Strong of Quail Ridge was eastbound on Overmyer Drive in a 2013 Chrysler Town & Country Van when she noticed a westbound Chrysler 300 traveling toward her in her lane. Strong was able to slow down prior to the collision but was unable to avoid the collision.
The initial investigation indicates that the driver of the westbound vehicle, 60 year old Edward Orr of Plymouth Goshen Trail may have had medical event just prior to the collision.
Mr. Orr was transported to SJRMC for treatment.
