WTCA is in crisis mode. For many, many years the radio station has helped a few needy families in the county at holiday time with food and toys. This year is no different but our manager, Kathy Bottorff dropped the ball and we haven’t even begun to collect the items we need.
This year WTCA will help 4 families and we hope to provide them with a tasty Christmas dinner and a few toys for each of the children.
All together we have 9 kids’ ages 6 months to 13 years old. We have the presents under control with the recent toy drive at Family Video, a Christmas angle that takes us shopping each year and a donation from Bomarko.
We are asking our listeners to drop off food items so we can provide a Christmas dinner and maybe a bit more food for each of our four families. Whatever you can give will be truly appreciated. We plan to deliver to our families on Tuesday, December 23.
