01/24/14 On December 8th of 2013, officers with the Culver Police Department were dispatched to the 500 block of West Jefferson Street for the report of a subject breaking out windows. 

During the investigation it was discovered that a robbery had taken place. After an investigation the Culver officers obtained an arrest warrant for the suspects. On Saturday, January 18th Culver officers went to 910 South Plymouth Street in Culver and arrested 22 year old Tyler Byers of Culver for Robbery, Theft, Battery, and Criminal Mischief. Byers was transported and lodged in the Marshall County Jail, booked in on a $15,005 bond.

  In conjunction with Byers’ arrest the Culver Police Department and officers from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to 9091 King Road in Plymouth.  They arrested 22 year old Brianne R. Sullivan of Plymouth on charges of Assisting a Criminal and False Informing. Sullivan was transported and lodged at the Marshall County Jail and booked in on a $5,005 cash bond. She was released later in the day on Wednesday, January 22nd at 4:15 P.M. after posting bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
