02/11/14 Potawatomi Park will hold its Annual Banquet at the Back Forty Banquet Hall in Bourbon on Saturday February 22nd.  Doors will open at 6PM with musical entertainment by Robert Hudson. A catered dinner will follow at 7PM.

The evening’s festivities include a silent auction, an update on what has been happening at the park during the past year, as well as the park’s plans for the coming year.  Some of the silent auction items include; a private Star party observation secession at the park with the Warsaw Astronomical Society, a guided Tippecanoe River Canoe Adventure with board member Jay Grossman, a weekend primitive camping get-a-way at Potawatomi Wildlife Park and artwork. 

Dr. Mark Schurr, Professor of Anthropology at the University of Notre Dame will be the featured speaker. Dr. Schurr’s presentation will reflect on the life of Stephen Benack (1780-1855) and the time of rapid change in which he lived, including insights gained from archeological work conducted at Potawatomi Wildlife Park.
