Flags at half mast_CountyBuildingThe Marshall County Drainage Board and Board of Commissioners will meet Monday morning beginning at 8:30 in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.

The Drainage Board will open maintenance bids for the McComber Drain to the J. Ballinger and Myers Ditch, the Berkey arm to North Berger Ditch, Dausman Ditch and Mattern Ditch.

A public hearing is scheduled for increasing the maintenance assessment of the Methany Ditch and Mrs. Betty Sjoquist will discuss a drainage issues under miscellaneous business.

The Commissioner’s meeting is scheduled to being at 9:30 with the quarterly report by EMA Director Clyde Avery, personnel contracts for Court Services and a discussion of the Mill Pond Dam by Roger Kottlowski from Commonwealth Engineers.

Also on the commissioner’s agenda is Sheriff Tom Chamberlin with commendations, Joe Edwards from SRI with an explanation on the sale of commissioner’s tax certificates and the LEPC plan update by Gene Gray. Regular reports will be heard by the highway department, county attorney and auditor.

Under Commissioner items is the third reading of the Pretty Lake setback, approval of the Farm Lease for Shady Rest, the memorandum of understanding between the City of Plymouth and Marshall County for planning services of Ralph Booker and an appointment to the Argos Library Board.
