01/21/14 Due to the Martin Luther King holiday on Monday, the County Drainage Board and Commissioner’s meeting were changed to Tuesday.  Both meetings are held in the second floor meeting room of the County Building. 

The Drainage Board meeting starts at 8:30 with the reorganization of the board.  They will open maintenance bids for the Balsley Arm of the J. Ballinger-Myers ditch and for the Hooker-McGriff drain.   At 8:40 they will discuss the Dogwood Road project on the Marburger drain in German Township.

The County Commissioners will meet at 9:30 a.m. County EMA Director Clyde Avery will present agreement applications for a sub-grants and the Plymouth City Engineer will seek an appointment to the Common Construction Wage Committee for 2014.  Also on the agenda is a prepayment request of Sheriff Tom Chamberlin for vehicle purchases and reports by Neal Haeck of the County Highway Department, County Attorney Jim Clevenger, and Penny Lukenbill the County Auditor. 

Other agenda items for commissioner consideration will be the approval of the 2014 Covered Bridge Certification, and addendum to the Purdue Extension contract and the 2014 County Attorney contract. 

The Drainage Board and Commissioner meeting are open to the public with comments and questions always being welcome.
