04/30/14 On Monday, April 28th at 12:19 P.M. the Marshall County Sheriff’s 911 Dispatch Center requested Plymouth police officers to a business in the 800 block of East Jefferson Street in reference to a male subject exposing his genitals in front of the female complainant.
Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Police assisted Officer John Weir with the Plymouth Police Department in locating the suspect in the business parking lot. Arrested was 50 year old Bruce Lefebvre of Elkhart. Mr. Lefebvre was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a charge of public indecency with prior charges. He was booked in to the jail and held on a $1,505 cash bond.
Lefebvre was released that day at 5:20 P.M. after posting bond and received and May 27th Superior Court date.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
