Marshall County Emergency Management Director Clyde Avery is warning citizens of possible severe weather this week.

The National Weather Service of Northern Indiana has issued a Winter Storm Watch which is in effect from late Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon. 

Snow is expected to develop around midnight Tuesday and continue into Wednesday morning.  The snow is forecast to taper off by late Wednesday morning or early Wednesday afternoon.

Snow accumulation of 4 – 8 inches is possible.  In addition, wind gusts of 25 – 35 mph may cause blowing and drifting issues and make for hazardous travel conditions on Wednesday.
