Handcuffs-newOn Monday evening November 24th about 9 P.M. Officer Shanna Gilmer attempted a traffic stop on 20 year old Eric R. Johnson of Plymouth at Michigan and Jackson Heights Road for a speed violation.

The driver fled and a pursuit was initiated. The driver continued to flee through several streets on the south side of Plymouth and a passenger in the vehicle fled from the vehicle at the intersection of Ewing and Bayless Streets.

The pursue continued westbound on Oakhill Avenue, south on Muckshaw Road till State Road 10 where Mr. Johnson was taken into custody.

Eric Johnson was arrested for operating while intoxicated, resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, possession of marijuana, minor consumption and reckless driving. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,505 bond.
