01/23/14 On Tuesday, January 21st at 7:47 A.M. the Plymouth Police, Fire and EMS responded to Sweet Pea Day Care located at 825 North Michigan Street in Suite A because the building was filled with smoke.
As first responders arrived on the scene Fire Chief Rod Miller noted a light haze smoke filling the day care from an unknown source. Contact was made with Dr. Rob Holl and Dr. Bob Lindsey owners the building and they arrived on the scene shortly after contact was made.
After a lengthy and intense investigation the source of the smoke was believed to be caused by an overheated furnace. The owners of the structure had the furnace check and it was back up and running later that day.
