DNR_logoIndiana Conservation Officers have increased their communication efforts by creating local news releases and posting them to their district Nixle account.

Followers of Nixle can go to www.nixle.com, click settings, then agencies and search for the Indiana DNR Law Enforcement district of their choice (Indiana DNR Law Enforcement District 1, 2, 3…….10) to begin following that district.

Interested people may also follow their chosen district(s) by using their cellphone and texting INDNRD1, 2, 3…..10 to 888-777.

Statewide news releases will still be posted on the Indiana DNR Law Enforcement Nixle account.

All 10 DNR Law Enforcement districts are also maintaining a Facebook page. To locate the district Facebook page, an interested person must search for Indiana DNR Law District 1,2,3….10.

Twitter accounts are also being established for the Public Information Officers in each district and are anticipated soon.

The DNR Law Enforcement Division has 10 operational districts across the state. A map of the districts may be found at http://www.in.gov/dnr/lawenfor/2755.htm.
