Habitat_PlumStreet_completionDean Byers, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County announces the completion of its fifteenth home in the County.
A dedication ceremony for the new home of Alicia Sellers is planned for this Sunday, June 29th at 2 PM. The Rev. Lester Johnson will officiate.
Constructed started in the fall of 2013, with volunteers working each Saturday, toward the goal of a new home by late spring. The new home is located at 824 North Plum Street in Plymouth and will be occupied by Sellers and her two children.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony, tour the home and meet the family who has completed all the requirements to become a Habitat partner family.
Habitat volunteers will be available to meet with those who may be interested in making an application for a home and how a family may qualify.
Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian ministry that welcomes to its work all people dedicated to the cause of eliminating inadequate housing worldwide.
The Marshall County Habitat for Humanity affiliate was established in 1999.
