02/11/14 January was another busy month for the Plymouth Fire Department.  There were 200 alarm situations from January 1 through the 31st.  There were 145 EMS incidents, 13 times they were dispatched and cancelled en route, and were requested for 11 medical assists.   Last month there were 6 times emergency responders were dispatched to unintentional system operations with no fires, firefighters were dispatched to 4 structure fires, 3 chemical releases, and 3 false alarms.

The Plymouth Fire Department went out on 2 combustible spills, 2 electrical wiring problems, 2 smoke or odor issues, 2 detector malfunctions and 2 special outside fires. 

Emergency responders also went out once each for an accident, good intent call, hazmat release, vehicle fire, and overheat.

In January full-timers and volunteers had 280 hours of training.
