Brooke and his wife Angela are the parents of four children ages 13, 12, 9, and 7.
They plan to move from Logansport to the Plymouth area in the near future.
In other matters, the Board approved a request from Assistant Superintendent, Dan Funston, to apply for grants from several sources. A specific request to apply for a grant from the Marshall County Community Foundation for Lincoln Junior High Robotics Club was approved by a vote of 3-0. Both Todd Samuelson and Melissa Christensen were absent from the meeting.
The Pilot News was selected as the media to print required legal advertising.
The Board was not required to take action on the 1st reading of the Administrative Guidelines, but did include the information in the Business Agenda.
Superintendent Daniel Tyree noted that renovation work was being done in the agriculture shop at Plymouth High School. Tyree said, “It’s a general facelift and will include a welding booth equipped with a video camera.” Tyree indicated that the area had never been upgraded since it was added to the PHS building.
The next regular meeting of the Board is scheduled for August 5, 2014.
