Last week’s weather delayed completion of the project which was to be 3 to 4 weeks. The project started on October 9th and should have been finished by November 6th.

A major void was discovered under the approach apron and sidewalk on the northwest side of the bridge when the Metronet conduit instillation project started preparations to mount it to the north side of the bridge in September. As a precaution the westbound driving lane was blocked off until work could get started.
