Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger released the final autopsy report from Dr. Joseph Prahlow, a board certified forensic pathologist on 28 year old Jose Cruz-Lizcano Fernandez of Logansport.
Fernandez accidentally drowned on July 4th at Lake Maxinkuckee in the swimming area of the Culver Town Park. Neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor in the drowning.
Cleavenger informed the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division of the findings. Cleavenger said, “Their investigation is ongoing but I don’t plan on releasing any additional information while the DNR investigation continues.”
