PLYMOUTH, IN – Trying to overcome a 31 point deficit at halftime against NJCAA Honorable Mention Kankakee Community College was a tough task for the Ancilla women’s basketball team, as they fell to the Cavaliers 100-69.

Spurts of turnovers and poor shooting from the field (27.8%) in the first half put the host Chargers in the hole early. Both teams scored 45 points in the second half, but the turnover margin for the game (26-9) was overwhelming.

Ancilla (6-4) was led by Khadijah Moore’s 31 points and 15 rebounds, her seventh double-double of the season. Alexis Williams and Michelle Detwiler both had double digit performances, finishing with 11 and 10 points respectively.

Ancilla’s next game is Thursday, December 11 at 5:30 p.m. when they will host Ivy Tech of Indianapolis at the LifePlex.
