02/17/14  On Thursday, February 13th at approximately 4:22 P.M. Plymouth Police Officer Bridget Hite was traveling northbound on Michigan Street when she observed a vehicle with male whom she knew from past experience had a suspended driver’s license.  Officer Hite had dispatch run, 38 year old Travis E. Lamb of Plymouth.   The requested information came back suspended with a prior offense. Lamb was located at the intersection of Randolph and Baker Streets where he was arrested for Driving While Suspended with a prior offense. He was transported at the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,505 bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
