Leadership Marshall County organizers are accepting applications for Class XX (Twenty). Leadership Marshall County (LMC) is a program dedicated to cultivating today’s leaders to serve tomorrow’s community by building a solid foundation of informed, action-oriented employees and citizens. Participants gain valuable exposure to community leaders, programs and service initiatives. Involvement in group projects encourages further investigation into long-term community goals, strategies and planning objectives. The program is designed to expand networks in both public and private sectors and improve communication among leaders.
Sessions are generally held one afternoon per month for nine months starting in September. Topics covered in this series include Marshall County government, agriculture, education, economic development, arts, tourism, health and human services and criminal justice. To date, over 300 community leaders have participated. Join the ranks!
