HUNTINGTON – The eighth grade Lincoln Redstorm wrapped up their season Saturday falling in the semi-finals of the conference tournament and finish their season with an undefeated home and regular season conference record. They were 17-3 overall and 6-0 in the conference.

In the semi-finals Lincoln faced Warsaw Edgewood. The Redstorm lead throughout the game only to fall by 3 points, 45-43. Dylan Powell lead the way in scoring with 14 points and Joel Funston added two big three pointers. Kadin McCrammer and Payton Skirvin lead the way defensively with a strong focus on defensive rebounding. With Garrett Tharp hurting from a fall in the first game Jarred Hurford played strong minutes in the post.
In the first round game versus Warsaw Lakeview, Dylan Powell and Garrett Tharp lead a strong scoring charge with 16 points each. Benji Nixon, Joel Funston, and Shane Pursch added a strong defensive effort to limit the effectiveness of the Warsaw guards. Kadin McCrammer and Payton Skirvin teamed together to limit the Lakeview leading scorer 11 points, 15 points below his average. The Redstorm won 45-38 to advance to the semi-finals.
