The Lincoln Jr. High track team ran against Rochester on Wednesday afternoon. The 7th grade
girls won by a score of 87 to 22. There were three quadruple first place winners for Lincoln:
Mercedes Bastardo placed first in the 100, 200, 4×100 relay and 4×400 relay. Kaitlyn Carothers
took first place in the 1600, 800, 4×100 relay and 4×400 relay. Kacee Peters also brought home
first place in the 100m Hurdles, 200m Hurdles, 4×100 relay and High Jump.
Others placing for Lincoln:
Madison Smith Triple 1st Place winner in 4×100 relay, 400, Long Jump, 2nd in the 100m.
CeCe Robinson Double 1st Place winner in Shot Put & Discus, 2nd in the 200m.

The 8th grade girls lost their meet against Rochester by a very close score of 57 to 52.

Another School Record….
On Monday evening, Kacee Peters broke two school records at the Wawasee track meet. The
first one was in the 100m hurdles with a time of 17.07. The second record was broke in the
200m hurdles with a time of 33.02.
