Eighth Grade
The 8th grade Red Storm defeated Lakeview last night 48-15 behind their best defensive effort of the season so far. As a team the boys had 11 steals and played great team defense all night. The Red Storm held Lakeview to a mere 27% from the field. Cole Filson led the way offensively for the Red Storm with 18 points, Cam Dennie added 10, and Clay Hilliard pitched in 9. Their record now stands at 8-1.
The boys will face their toughest test of the season this Saturday when they travel to Ben Franklin to compete in the Valpo Tourney.
Seventh Grade
The 7th grade Redstorm went into Lakeview last night and won a tight battle, 31-26. Kam Vanlue and Trey Galloway led the scoring with 9 points apiece. Vanlue also added 3 steals and 3 rebounds. Brady HIssong played great defense on the night and Tommy Dolan had 4 deflections to lead all players. The 7th grade record now stands at 5-4. The team will face their toughest test of the season this Saturdaywhen they travel to Ben Franklin to compete in the Valpo Tourney.
