Seventh Grade

The 7th Grade opened up their season with a convincing 38-14 win over visiting Bremen.  The game was a tight affair in the first half with Lincoln only leading 13-10 at the break.  The Redstorm used tough defensive pressure in the second half to pull away, holding Bremen to only two baskets in the third quarter.  Lincoln was extremely balanced in scoring with Joe Styers leading the way with 7 points and four other players chipping in 5 points, including Joe  Barron, Adam Hunter, Trey Galloway, and Kendall Himes.  Kendal Himes lead the way in rebounding with 6 and Kam Vanlue had 5 steals, all in the second half.  The Lincoln 7th grade returns to action Wednesday night when the face Tippy Valley at home.

Eighth Grade

The Red Storm opened up their season last night against a solid Bremen team.  The boys got off to a slow start, but rallied in the second half to take a 39-26 victory.  Cole Filson lead all scores with 15 points followed by Clay Hilliard with 12.  Blake Reed lead the team in rebounds with 5 followed by Bryce Carmichael and Cole Filson with 4 each.  However, the game was truly decided by a fantastic defensive effort in the second half lead by Larry Dragani and Evan Zeigler.

The boys are back in action again tonight when they travel to Tippey Valley.
