Eighth Grade
The Lincoln 8th grade volleyball team traveled to Edgewood last night for their last conference game of the season. Lincoln pulled away with a win in the first match 25-24 after being down by 6 at the beginning of the game. The second game wasn’t as smooth and the ladies lost 12-25. The third game was close and fast with Edgewood edging out Lincoln 15-14 on the final point. The ladies are ready to face Edgewood again on Wednesday for the opening of NELMSC play. The 7th grade starts at 4:30pm and the 8th grade will play immediately following. A win on Wednesday will seed us for the bracket play on Saturday at Edgewood.
Seventh Grade
The Lincoln Red Storm faced a tough Edgewood team last night. In game 1, Edgewood’s tough serving led to a loss for the Red Storm, 8-25. Lincoln came back a bit stronger, but tough serving again led to a loss in the second game, 13 – 25. Lincoln will face Edgewood tomorrow in the NELMSC conference tournament. The game will be a home game for the Red Storm and will start at 5 pm.
