The Lincoln Jr. High wrestlers had a great weekend placing 2nd at the Frank Iddings Memorial Tournament at West Noble Highschool and having a great JV team showing at Rochester.

The Varsity team had 4 individual champions: Graham Calhoun at 95 lbs., Zane Devault at 115 lbs., Garret May at 140 lbs, and Sam Stayton at 189 lbs.  As a team the boys finished in 2nd place in a field of 16 to Prairie Heights middle school despite forfeiting 5 of the 19 weight classes due to illness or injury.

The Plymouth JV wrestling team headed to Rochester where they competed very well against some stiff varsity level competition.  Top finishers were Austin Vanderaa, Trevor Pletchor, Ireal Martinez, and John Mills who all took 2nd place. Many other JV wrestlers where able to win matches against more experienced opponents.

Lincoln will compete this Tuesday at home against Lakeview middle school, and next Saturday at Whitko in their final tournament of the year for the conference title.
