School_Board_electionsMost voters in Marshall County had the opportunity to vote for their local school board members on Tuesday during the General Election. Just like the county, state, and federal elections, there weren’t too many races.

In Bremen there was a race for District 1 – in town between Sheila Kelty and Maria Mikel. Mikel won with 668 votes over Kelty’s 638 votes. There was no challenge for District 2 – out of town for Bremen School Board and Todd Stuckman has that seat.

The Culver School Board had no races so Ryan Sieber, William Sonnemaker and Jack Jones will have those seats next year.

The John Glenn School Board was another corporation without any choices. Those who will set on the board next year include Janice Ryan, William Groves and Dennis Holland.

The Plymouth Community School Board had two seats up for election. Both Larry Pinkerton and Melissa Christiansen were running unopposed.

The Triton School Board had three seats open for election and only one candidate for each seat. Teresa Barnhart, Steven Stichter and Kenneth Miller will fill those seats.

There was a race in the Union North United School Board. In Union Township Karman Eash gathered 328 votes to Shelley Papczynski’s 317 votes. The other seat on the Union North United School Board was uncontested and Michael Berger will fill that position.
