RepCaucusMarshall County Republic precinct committee men and women gathered at Republican Headquarters Monday evening to conduct a caucus to elect a new county treasurer to fill the vacancy that will be left when Deb VanDeMark moves to Clerk of the Courts on January 1st. VanDeMark still has two years remaining of her current term at Treasurer.

There was another candidate that withdrew her name.” He told prescient committee men, “Since there was only one candidate I see no purpose in passing out ballots.” With a motion and second, and a voice vote, Lukenbill was unanimously selected to service the citizens of Marshall County as Treasurer for the next two years beginning on January 1, 2015.
