06/11/14 Plymouth Police Chief Dave Bacon presented his May 2014 monthly report during Monday’s Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.

The Plymouth Police Department answered 759 calls for information, officers responded to 237 complaints and 171 9-1-1 calls.  City officers conducted 285 traffic stops, conducted 106 residential security checks and signed 28 adult charges and 7 juvenile charges.

Plymouth officers made 35 criminal arrests and conducted 47 vehicle checks, responded to 40 alarms and covered 40 accident reports.  The city’s K-9 Jax was used 27 times and assisted other agencies 20 times. Officers issued 170 citations and conducted 104 case reports and responded to 52 animal complaints.

With officers from the Plymouth Police Department now handling some code enforcement issues, there were 39 code violations in May.
