01/18/14 Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter along with Marshall County Chief Deputy Prosecutor Nelson Chipman and Indiana State Trooper Jason Faulstich will be speaking about meth on WNIT’s POLITICALLY SPEAKING program on Sunday, January 19th.  This is a live call-in show that will air at 2 PM.

Meth has been a major problem in Marshall County for nearly 10 years.  At one time just a few years ago MC was 3rd Indiana in the amount of meth labs located.  Other parts of Indiana and the Midwest have been exposed as well to this drug, its clandestine labs, addictions and other crimes that go along with it such as child neglect, domestic battery and theft.

Mayor Senter has made it a priority in his administration to quell the clandestine laboratories in the City of Plymouth and surrounding area.  He retired from the Indiana State Police with 28 years of service in 2007.  While on the department he was a member of the ISP Clandestine Lab team for five years taking down nearly 80 labs.  He often worked with Trooper Faulstich who has been working in the meth program since 2001.  Chief Deputy Prosecutor

Chipman has worked tirelessly for nearly two years going after the meth producers with new energy and longer sentences and less plea bargains.
