Department Heads and several volunteers from Miller’s Senior Living Community in Plymouth attended the 18th Annual REAL Services Age of Excellence Awards banquet held at South Bend’s Century Center Thursday, May 8th.  The Age of Excellence Awards Luncheon honors nominees “who give selflessly of their time and talents to support older adults and disabled members of our community”.

Volunteers from the Plymouth Miller’s campus nominated for Age of Excellence awards were Juanita Stapan, Annette Ray, John Guyse, and the Marshall County Church Orchestra.   They were among over 100 nominees in nine different categories. 

REAL Services Board of Directors Chairman, Steven C. Watts welcomed the nominees and others in attendance to the Age of Excellence awards ceremony.  The invocation was given by Sister Laureen Painter, Vice-President of the Mission and Outreach, St. Joseph Regional Health Systems.  WNDU Channel 16 news anchor Terry McFadden introduced the keynote speaker for the event; TV and stage star Vicki Lawrence.
