Emergency responders from the Plymouth Fire Department and officers with the Plymouth Police Department responded to a three vehicle accident on US 30 east of Pioneer Drive Thursday just before 3 in the afternoon.
A west bound semi rear-ended a full-size pick-up truck and the impact forced the truck into a westbound van from Wisconsin. Two people in the pick-up received minor injuries and were transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth. The semi driver and the people in the van were not injured in the accident.
West bound traffic was limited to one lane at the railroad for a short period of time while police investigated the crash and Carnegie Towing removed the pick-up which had a bent frame.
